Busy.
I'm not only teaching three classes a week right now, but I'm also marathon training which includes 5 days of running each week. I'm also working as the Aerobic/Cycle Coordinator at The Peak which is taking up time and energy too. I'm in the process of trying to get enough people signed up for our upcoming Turbo Kick Instructor Training that we're hosting in May. PLUS I've just signed up to be a Beachbody Coach. Lots to do! I'm not complaining though. I actually love everything I'm doing right now. I feel really good about it all. Lots of exciting opportunities are coming up soon and I can't wait.
We leave for Hawaii in a few days, so I'll be soakin' up some rays there...did I really just say that, "soakin' up some rays"? I'm a dork. I'm excited for our vacation and first-time plane ride for our son.

Teaching and teaching and teaching, oh my!
So I'm now teaching 5 classes a week. Four at MVAC, and one at church. Now that I'm officially an employee of 24 Hour Fitness, I'll hopefully start teaching there more too. I've already signed up for my first two subbing classes. One next week and the week after. I'm stoked for this new opportunity at 24 and I look forward to maybe furthering my certifications through them. Maybe all this teaching will get my butt into shape. You know, a shape that I want. Small and round.

Busiest Teaching Week Ever!
Holy crap, I taught 5 classes this week! Body Sculpt and HHH on Monday, two TK's on Tuesday, and HHH on Wednesday. I don't think I've ever done that much in one week! It was great though. I was actually having a hard time getting super motivated after teaching on Monday. My muscles were so sore and I just didn't really want to. My TK Cardio Party had on okay turnout, about 14. I was hoping for more so I guess I was kind of bummed out. Then I was really having a hard time getting excited about HHH which kind of surprised me. I've totally been excited to teach it, so I don't know why I was feeling that way. Anyway, when I got to class last night, it was so much fun. About 15 people showed up, including one guy! Everyone was laughing and having a great time. I knew that it was a successful class, just because of the great energy in the room. Then tonight I went to take a Zumba class. Before it started, one of the girls came up to me.
Her: "Are you the one that taught Hip Hop?"
Me: "Yeah, that was me. Were you there?"
H: "Yes, and I just wanted to tell you thank you! That was so fun and almost therapeutic for me. Thank you!"
M: "Oh, you're welcome, I'm so glad you liked it."
I was so happy with her reaction! Then after Zumba class, I approached two girls that also had come last night. I just told them thanks for coming last night. They looked confused until I said Hip Hop. They didn't recognize me without my "street" gear on and with no makeup. They were so over the top with how much they liked it and how they wanted it to be a longer class. It made me feel really good. I'm glad that we had a good response. Hopefully they'll all tell their friends and I'll get even more people next week!
