I Want to Make Money From Home

I have always had a natural ability to sell things, but to be honest, I don't LOVE being a salesman.

Once I became a SAHM (Stay-at-home Mom), I had the urge to want to do something extra. Something that didn't involve poopy diapers or runny noses.

I decided to start selling scrapbook supplies. Well, that lasted about 3.5 seconds (okay, about 3 months), and I quickly realized that it wasn't for me.

I swore I would never get involved with another at-home business after my first failed attempt with the scrapbook stuff. I figured that "at-home" stuff wasn't for me.

In comes Beachbody.

When I found out that I could do an at-home business dealing with fitness, I was very intrigued. I did a lot of research before finally realizing that Beachbody was the real deal.

It wasn't about selling magic "fixes" for weight loss. It wasn't a fad diet. It was real: fitness, nutrition, and accountability.

Those are the three KEY parts of getting healthy. Period.

So, here I am. Helping people get fit and healthy, while I can stay accountable to my own fitness. I couldn't ask for a better job.

Oh, and that selling thing...I don't feel like I'm "selling" when I'm offering solutions to help people change their lives. I really feel like this is the best job ever!

In fact, this week, I made over $90 just because I have a team of people who are also helping others get fit. I didn't sell one thing this week.

Could you use an extra $90 this week?

P90X Review, Day 1

After a lot of excuse making, I've finally decided to commit to a workout that I know will give me results.

P90X.

This morning as I was doing the Chest and Back DVD, and doing push-ups and pull-ups (assisted for me), and more push-ups and pull-ups, and listening to Tony Horton's quirky comments, I realized that although this was hard, I was happy that I was doing something that I wanted to do.

Once I got to Ab Ripper X, I was sufficiently tired, but stuck with it anyway. I'm definitely not in love with the V-up Roll-ups. I didn't make it through all 25, but I tried. The other hard one for me is the oblique crunch side thingy. I feel half way retarded when I do it.

My goal by Christmas is to do un-assisted pull-ups. Why that goal? I was the chubby kid in school who couldn't do any pull-ups or even the rope climb thing, and I'm kind of resentful because of it. There. How's that answer?

The truth is, I deserve to get amazing results. I deserve to take an hour or so a day for time for myself and work towards my goal of truly getting in the best shape of my life. I deserve to stop making excuses and JUST DO IT!

So here I am.

Getting Ready

So I have just over two weeks until I start teaching my classes again. I'm getting so excited and anxious! I can't wait to see my students again! You really get a good friendly relationship with them and I've honestly missed them. Anyway, the good news is that I'm going to be teaching three classes a week starting in June. Not only am I going to be teaching TK, but I'm going to be adding Hip Hop Hustle and a Body Sculpt class. I've never taught anything like Body Sculpt, but I'm excited and up for the challenge. My first TK class back will be my luau themed TK Cardio Party. It's going to be a lot of fun! I just made up my flyers and they are so cool. It's going to feel good to get back in the swing of things with my workouts. I also can't wait to get back into Spinning. Once I feel fully recovered and back in decent shape, I also want to do this program called P90X. It's a 90 day workout that TOTALLY shapes your body and makes you look so amazing! Brandon and I are both going to do it, so I'm anxious to see our results after the three months.
