Well, I did it. I went to 24 yesterday and auditioned for the Group X Manager. She had told me through email that I would probably be auditioning for 20 minutes or so, but I ended up only showing her about 10. She had great input and great things to say about my performance. It's nice to have someone really evaluate my TK teaching since I've never really had that before.
It'll take a couple of weeks to get everything processed, but then I will be an actual employee at 24. I'll just be subbing at first, but hopefully if there's an opening soon, I may get my own class.
I'll still continue to teach my 4 classes at MVAC, but this is a great way to be able to teach a little bit more while also being able to watch other instructors to see how they do things.
Yay for me!
