Spending Quality Time With the Kiddos

Do you know what it's like when you're trying to talk to someone and they're only halfway paying attention to you?

Doesn't that just drive you nuts?!

Try and relate that to your kids and ask yourself these questions:

* When you're with your kids, are you actively ENGAGED in what they're doing or saying?

* Do you find yourself easily distracted by other things like the TV, computer, phone, etc.?

* Do you schedule the "other" things in your life during times that won't interfere with your time with your kids?

Look, I'm definitely not the perfect mom. I do, however, have a few tips on spending quality time together as a family.

Talk About Bad Mood...

Yesterday I was just not feeling it.

What is "it", you might ask?

ANYTHING!

I was SUPER grumpy, over NOTHING!

That's the worst part...

I didn't have anything to be upset over!

I kind of felt like this:

It's a good thing my husband loves me, because, MAN...I was not a friendly person to be around last night!

And he WAS!

Okay, yes I do.

But acceptance is the first stage in recognizing I have a problem, right?

Tell me I'm not the only one who feels this way.

You've gone through it too, right? Or at least had someone close to you with the same "problem"?

I hope so...
